After graduating in the top ten percent of his class from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, Tony Trout served as a lieutenant and shift commander for the Mauldin Police Department. Here, Trout was honored with numerous letters of commendation and was named as Policeman-of-the-Year . During his fifteen years of service, Trout received extensive training in police-related activity and also served an an instructor for the Criminal Justice Academy. While serving as a police officer, Trout was instrumental in initiating the Greenville chapter of MADD (Mothers Against Drunk
Driving) . He then served on the Board of Directors for the organization.
After leaving the police force, Trout entered the field of private security. He has extensive experience in security management and has excelled as the operations coordinator for Pro-Teck Security. Trout maintains close contact with each client to ensure optimum performance of his services and excellent satisfaction of his clients. Tony Trout also currently serves on Greenville County Council .
